BEA to release new regional data THURSDAY— SABEW members get exclusive help! September 25, you will be able to find out the size of your city’s economy, learn whether it’s growing or declining and what industries are driving it. On that date the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis will release the second annual estimates of gross domestic product for 363 metropolitan statistical areas. These estimates will provide a wealth of possible local economic stories. On the call will be Sharon Panek, chief of the Gross Domestic Product by State Services section of BEA’s Regional Economic Analysis Division.
